| Milford, CT – November 10, 2005 - Kerri T. Rowland has received a promotion to Manager of Internet Marketing from her former position as Internet Marketing Analyst at New Standard Institute.
Ms. Rowland first joined New Standard Institute in 1992, as Assistant Seminar Coordinator. Newly graduated from Boston College with a degree in Education and English, she redirected her career to become New Standard’s most valuable employee. As the company grew, she was variously promoted through planning and coordinating seminars and meetings, customer service manager, and production planning director. She has been actively engaged in print marketing and design, as well as database management and communications.
In the late Nineties Ms. Rowland took a hiatus from the company to spend more time with her husband and two children. During this period she was able to concentrate on her coaching career and work with local baseball and hockey players in the elementary and high schools. She is also a skilled golfer and die-hard Yankees fan.
Upon her return to New Standard Ms. Rowland became the Lead Analyst of the company's internet marketing program and website activity. She is responsible for Affiliate and Reseller programs, predominantly for computer based training programs, as well as Links Management and advertising content.
In 2005, Ms. Rowland was elected to the Board of Aldermen in Milford, Connecticut.
