AC Motor Controls is the third publication from New Standard Institute’s catalog of computer based training (CBT). Adapted from New Standard’s technical training course text, this material is enhanced with an animated virtual Digital Multimeter, which simulates use of the real instrument, as well as other features which make complex concepts more understandable. The product also includes in-depth explanations of wiring, ladder diagrams, and electrical circuitry.
This CBT is available in two formats: as a downloadable file or as a CD-ROM disc.
Other CBT materials are Lubrication and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (adapted from New Standard Institute’s long-running seminar). In the coming months, the company will release CBT products on Precision Measurement, Electrical Safe Work Practices, Alignment, and other subjects pertinent to skills improvement within industrial facilities.
