Summer Interns Round Out Staff at New Standard Institute
Milford, CT – June 16, 2003 - As happens every Summer, New Standard Institute welcomes interns from various colleges and universities into apprentice positions. This year’s selected interns represent these colleges: Jarrod Phipps Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts Programmer in Flash, Java and C languages. Degree: Computer Information Systems Steven Sohcot Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut Programmer in Flash and Visual Basic. Degree: Computer Information Systems Kevin Egolf Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut Marketing Intern. Degree: Economics and Computer Science All interns receive a salary as well as college credit for their summer employment. Many staff members at New Standard became full time employees after graduation. Currently, three staff members are enrolled in Graduate Degree Programs as part of New Standard Institute’s continuing education benefit, and one received a Master’s Degree in May 2003.
