Consultant Andrew C. Levitt Certified as Project Management Professional
|
 |
Milford, CT – June 1, 2009 - New Standard Institute Senior Consultant Andrew C. Levitt has been credentialed as a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
Levitt completed PMI’s rigorous program for certification in late May. PMI requires applicants have “demonstrated knowledge and skill in leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources” through both working experience and examination.
With New Standard, Levitt specializes in Project Management seminars and hands-on software training, as well as consulting on Maintenance Management issues during Shutdowns, Turnarounds, and Outages. In August 2009 he will be presenting two seminars on the use of Microsoft Project, specifically geared towards planning maintenance projects at industrial facilities.
- Microsoft® Project for Maintenance is a three-day immersion course that teaches attendees how to use the program to its fullest capacity in real-world project management during a plant Shutdown.
- Advanced Microsoft® Project for Maintenance shows participants how to deal with rapid and unexpected changes during a S/T/O, risk mitigation, and how to excel at import/export of project data.
These seminars were written by Mr. Levitt specifically for New Standard Institute clients and seminar attendees.
