| Milford, CT – February 22, 2008 - Retail giant Target selected New Standard Institute to build interactive training courses that could be used within the company’s distribution centers and stores to explain and enhance their equipment maintenance efforts.
Using Flash animations, voice-over narration, and interactive experiential techniques from New Standard’s repertoire of previously designed modules, the company created customized training for Target managers to provide to employees throughout their company.
With about 1500 stores and many warehouses throughout the US, ease of use for employees of varying skill levels was important to Target. Upon discovery of New Standard’s award-winning training programs in mechanical and electrical skills, Target contracted with New Standard for a series of training modules which can be viewed on any computer within their facilities.
Spearheading the project for New Standard was Sr. Product Development Manager Michael Konopka.
