Live Chat FAQ
What is Live Chat?
Live Chat, like instant messaging, is an online typed conversation that occurs in real time. With Live Chat, you can get free and immediate answers to your questions.
How do I access Live Chat?
All you have to do is click on the "Live Chat" icon in the upper right corner of any page on our website, just to the right of "Help". The icon will display the status of the service, either Available or Unavailable.
What does "Live Chat Unavailable" mean?
If the Live Chat icon says "Unavailable" there are no representatives on line to chat. You may leave a written message via this system at any time and we will respond as soon as possible.
How does "Live Chat Available" work?
You will be able to type in a message, or any questions you have about our programs and seminars. The Technical Support Representative will respond, in writing, in the window and you will be able to have a written conversation. The Tech Rep will help you with your technical support request or answer any general queries you have.
Will I have to wait for an answer?
New Standard Institute Technical Support Representatives are monitoring Live Chat from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time USA (GST-5) on weekdays. Keep in mind, there could be hundreds of other people in Live Chat asking questions. You may have to wait in a queue. Try and keep your question(s) short and specific. For more detailed issues you can send an email to nsi@newstandardinstitute.com or call our office for phone assistance (East Coast of US) at 203-783-1582.
Problems authorizing a CBT?
Live Chat can be utilized for CBT manual (phone) authorizations, making it easier for many clients. Be sure to provide your Order Number or Invoice Number when you contact the New Standard Institute Technical Support Representative.
