Seminar FAQ
Are the seminars available at other locations?
| Yes. We add new locations every year. In addition, the seminars can be presented on-site at your facilty. View our available Maintenance Seminars. |
When do I pay for the seminar?
| Payment must be received before the seminar attendee is officially registered for the seminar. The seminars fill quickly, so early payment is advised. |
What happens if a seminar is full?
| If a seminar is full you will be notified during the checkout process and placed on a waiting list. You will be notified if a position opens up. Your credit card will not be charged if the session is full. |
Does my registration for the seminar give me a hotel room as well?
| As soon as you register for a seminar, you will be sent a confirmation email, giving you a receipt for your payment of the registration fee. Attached to this email is an information sheet about the seminar, providing all details on booking a reduced rate sleeping room at the host hotel. These rooms are held within a block, which fill quickly. In addition, room availability may expire prior to the seminar. If you are concerned about securing a room, contact a Seminar Coordinator at New Standard Institute. |
If I attend a seminar, is there a hotel discount available for me?
| In most cases, sleeping rooms are available at the host hotel location if you register more than thirty days prior to the session. |
What is the cancellation deadline for seminars?
| If attendees need to cancel or reschedule, notice must be received in writing 15 business days prior to the start date of the seminar.
Registrants can opt for a one-time seminar transfer credit, valid for 6 months. Cancellation for refund will result in a $100 administrative fee and be refunded by check to the company, rather to an individual.
A substitute attendee can be designated one week prior to the seminar start date.
"No-shows" will forfeit registration fees. |
