When I tried to install the Computer Based Training Product that I purchased, I received an error.
If your error referred to an older version of the Windows Installer, or the files instmsia.exe or instmsiw.exe, the following is an explanation and instructions on how to proceed. For other errors, contact your IT support staff or call our office. The error is caused when the installer is run on computers with an older version of Microsoft Windows Installer. Microsoft has released update packages for the Windows Installer. You can get these updates directly from Microsoft's site, or download them from New Standard Institute by clicking the links below. Please note that you need to know your Windows version.

Windows Version             File
Windows 98 or ME instmsia.exe
Windows NT or 2000 instmsiw.exe
Windows XP N/A

In the table shown above, click on the file for your version of Microsoft Windows. Your browser will display a message asking you to either open the file from its current location, or save it to your hard drive. Select the "save" option. Save the file in a directory that you can easily find. When the download is finished, double-click on the file to run it. This will update your Windows Installer. Once that process is complete, you can install the New Standard Institute Computer Based Training product that you purchased. Just follow the original installation procedures you have received.

My file opened and authorized correctly the first time I ran it. However, when I went to run it again it asked for my authorization again, and said I had no authorizations left.
This type of error can be caused if you have moved the file to a different directory on your computer. Once you have authorized the file from a certain directory you should leave it in that same directory.
